How do I provide artwork?
Artwork can be provided on disk or it can be emailed to us.
Please consult our design guide
for more details.
What is bleed?
A design is said to bleed if the printed area extends right
to the edge of the aper/card in any region of the design,
(i.e. there is no continuous border of clear space
separating the inked area from the edge of the paper/card).
Do you offer a design service?
We offer a complete design service. Prices are charged per
item. Very often we will offer free design when ordering large
quantities of flyers or posters.
Most of our customers provide their own design, produced in
one of the wide range of artwork programmes that we accept.
We are also able to reproduce most items of printing even
if you do not have the design on a computer if you can post
us a copy of the item that you have had printed elsewhere.
If you want to provide you own design in either of the above
ways, then please read our design
guide.
We do also offer a design service where
we create a design for almost any printed product for you.
This might range from a simple business card, to a full colour
brochure. Alternatively, you might want a logo designing or
your company stationery modernising, or designing from scratch.
Either way, we will be happy to help you.
As a guide, a small item like a business
card or letterhead might cost from around £25 to £50
to design, depending on the complexity of any logo that might
need creating. Larger items such as brochures or folders cost
more, but once we have discussed the job with you, we give
you a no-obligation quote in advance of undertaking any work.
Our design service is a "hand-holding"
service where we do most of the work in creating the design
for you, but based on conversations with yourselves, and with
you providing the majority of the text and pictures (although
the price includes us assisting you with both).
How long do I have to wait for my order?
Printing normally only takes 48 hours to complete, but at
peak times this can increase to 4 days, plus a day for delivery.
How do I know my printing will be of good quality?
We utilise high quality litho presses for your flyers and
employ specialist staff to make sure your order is nothing
but the highest print quality.
